Golden Wedding photo I found at the Giant Fleamarket at the Bath and West Showground last Sunday, with writing on the back!
The bride was attired in an ivory charmeuse (Silk) dress, trimmed with French lace and pearls, and carried a sheaf of lilies.
Found recently at the Fleamarket & what a surprise I had when I got home & turned this one over!
Lovely groups of friends & children, but who are they all? Do you recognise anyone?
So can you help? Do you recognise any faces of family members or ancestors?
I found these three lovely old photos together, was great they had dates & other writing on.
Though Ireland was aflame with civil war, Dublin society gaily put aside its troubles in May, 1798 to enjoy to the full an astounding story of seduction and murder!
I had a message from a direct descendant of Louisa Stallibrass Searle and James Alder, and that changed everything!
At first, after reading the back of the group photo below, I really hoped I could find Grandpa Searle & I have!
I picked out the best & most interesting ones & every single one that had writing of any sort on & haggled hard to get the price down!
