Mildred Mary Gough was one of five daughters born to James and Theodosia, who married 11 May 1847 at St Andrews Church, Hornchurch, Essex.
I asked: What regiment? Can anyone ID their uniforms?
I found this lovely family photo on a Cabinet Card was taken at a photographers studio in Melbourne, Australia in 1892.
From the clues on the back I finally managed to find the right family where everyone fitted in
a super example of why we must make a huge effort to talk to the older generations and find out their stories
Pride and Love. This time of year, around Remembrance Day evokes many emotions in people all around the world, especially this years anniversary of the end of WW1……………..
I think from my research so far that these two are Katherine Wilson (Kitty) & Edmund Charles Sear (Charlie)
