Last week we had a little trip out to Chard, Somerset not too far from us. On a Thursday they have a small antiques, collectables and vintage items table top sale in the Guildhall, so we thought it would be nice to see what’s it’s like. There’s not a huge number of sellers but what they had was very interesting & I got some old Wedding photos & this lovely original photo frame which some kind person had written the family names on the back.

I was over the moon with this & have found out some great info about the family. So I’m just hoping that now a descendant may see this blog & want to own it! Fingers crossed.

No, the first photo is exactly it. Just a simple very basic wooden frame with the three photos in it & brown paper backing. I haven’t disturbed it at all.

Oh that’s a pity. However, some of those wooden frames are quite ornate. Good luck with your next discovery I hope it’s a good one. Such a thrilling pastime you have Lynn. Looking forward to your next exciting post.
