Mildred Mary Gough was one of five daughters born to James and Theodosia, who married 11 May 1847 at St Andrews Church, Hornchurch, Essex.

What a week! With three families receiving some of their family old photos back home….
Most of you will, I’m sure, have heard of J.M.Barrie, James Matthew Barrie of Peter Pan fame, but how many of you have heard of his wife Mary Ansell.
…..caught my eye, Mum cherishing her young child, can’t you just see the overwhelming love and pride of her baby son in her eyes.
I bought these beautiful old photos at an Antique Fair last month in Devon
So now I have identified the couple, the child on Mum Stella’s lap is indeed their first born Stella Joanna Matilda Parminter Tudor!
I was amazed to find that her daughter had inherited from a cousin, a very famous National Trust property!
